Unndór graduated with a Ba degree from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2008 and with an Mfa degree from the Valand Academy of the Arts in Gothenburg in 2011. Unndór has been active in exhibitions since graduation both in Iceland and abroad. Some of the major group exhibitions are Momentu Design at Momentum Arthall in Moss, Norway in 2010, State, flora, flag, fables at the Reykjavík Art Museum in 2016, Cloudbusters: Intensity vs. Intention at the Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Tallinn, Estonia in 2018 and the solo exhibitions Tvívængja at the Living Art Museum in 2015 and Cul de Sac at Kling and Bang Gallery in 2020.
